Trav-Ler Tube Clock Radio Model 5170
Trav-Ler Tube Radio Model 5170
This great looking early 1950s tube radio has a solid wood cabinet. The cabinet is in great condition, the radio comes on but we were unable to get a station on it. The second hand on the clock sweeps as it should, it is missing one of the clock knobs. I like the stylized numbers on the dials and the clock has a Telechron movement with red sweep second hand. Pilotuner by Pilot Radio Antique FM Tuner
Pilotuner Pilto Radio Frequency Modulation Tuner – The Pilot Radio model T601 Pilotuner is simply an FM radio tuner (without an audio amplifier or speaker). It is designed to connect to a stand-alone audio amplifiers phono input or plug into the phono input section of an AM-only radio, just like a turntable/record player.
The controls are an on/off switch and a tuning knob that covers the modern FM band of 88-108 megahertz. Housed in a compact solid wood cabinet measuring approximately 8 1/2 x 6 3/4 x 6 inches, the Pilotuner is convenient to place most anywhere. Manufactured in the USA around 1947, this great vintage piece of radio history is used and untested, all parts and tubes appear to be in place. Condition is very good for its age as shown in picture, due to its age sold as is. The back cover is missing, insides are intact and clean.
